Nicolas Lallier holds a bachelor of civil law (LLL) from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated cum laude in 2014 and made the Faculty of Civil Law Dean’s Honour List for his outstanding academic performance in 2013–2014. In winter 2013 he attended the Sorbonne in Paris, where he studied European law and international trade law. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2016 after completing École du Barreau training.
A dedicated litigator, Mtre Lallier specializes in contractual and commercial liability as well as loans and securities enforcement. He is regularly called upon to act for all types of creditors, including financial institutions and trustees in bankruptcy, in the context of debt collection, ofsecurity enforcement and proceedings governed by the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Having pleaded before the courts of first instance and the Court of Appeal on numerous occasions, he knows how to put his experience to work for his clients.
